Does the Dust Deputy work on drywall dust?
I use this when sanding drywall. It works very well. +1 I used the handed version of the Sandclean, making my own bucket collection for the dust. The only drawback was I used corrugated hose (cheap) which made awful screeching/whistling sounds while it was on.

An alternative form of cyclone is what is known as a ” Thien-baffle”. In a Thien-baffle, the air spirals in a flat shape from the edge to the center, whereas in a cyclone it moves in more of a helical pattern down the cone and then back up the middle.

How do you vacuum drywall dust with a shop vac?
Insert the other hose into the other hole and make sure it doesn’t extend more than a few inches below the lid. Insert the other end of this hose into your Shop Vac. Fill the bucket with enough water to submerse the longer hose at the bottom of the bucket. Enjoy your new water filter as you vacuum up the drywall dust!
