When taming starve it half way or 3/4 so you won’t lose any kibble/food from it being killed by other animals, once starved but in dodo kibble and you should have a perfect tame. In my experience knocking out a petra takes between 1-2 tranq arrows. The problem seams to be that 2 minutes is not enough time for a pteranodon they seam to loose hunger extremely slowly so the taming process can take up to 3 real life hours depending on the level. And most of the time my prime meat will be wasted because it will expire before they get hungry enough to eat again.
How to tame on Ark Survival Evolved?
You can also build a tower like structure, lure the Maewing with honey, and then close the structure with pillars to trap it. Once you have a Maewing knocked out, simply drop some Superior Kibble and wait until its hungry to tame it. You can then put a saddle on it and then ride it.

no. it is not worth it. it is a waste of money, bag graphics, bad mechanics. terrible gameplay. oh wait, these are common responses n the bad reviews. I’m considering taking the plunge and buying Ark after a week of lurking on forums and reading reviews but i’m still unsure.
